A jobsite is rarely static. Crews arrive and leave. Equipment moves. Lighting changes. Weather shifts. And during periods of transition, especially early mornings, dusk, or shift changes, maintaining awareness becomes more important than ever.

Low light conditions reduce visibility for everyone. Add in moving equipment, changing crews, and workers focused on finishing their tasks, and it's easy to see how accidents can happen. Fortunately, a few simple habits can dramatically improve safety: Make visibility a priority. Wear hi-viz gear that's appropriate for your work environment and lighting conditions.

Stay aware of your surroundings. Regularly scan your work area and avoid distractions, especially around moving vehicles and equipment.

Communicate clearly. Make eye contact with operators, use hand signals when appropriate, and never assume you've been seen.

At LIFT Safety, we believe visibility is one of the simplest and most effective ways to improve jobsite safety. That's why we offer hi-viz gear built to perform in real-world conditions.

The LIFT Bomber Jacket combines ANSI-compliant visibility with weather protection and comfort, making it an excellent choice for cooler temperatures and changing conditions. The Viz Pro 5-Point Breakaway Vest provides lightweight visibility with strategically placed breakaway points designed for environments where entanglement hazards may exist.
