Embedded Twiceme Technology Adds New Element of Safety to
LIFT Safety’s Radix Helmet

STOCKHOLM, Sweden September 12, 2024  Twiceme Technology, a Swedish company dedicated to revolutionizing safety solutions, today announced its partnership with LIFT Safety, a premium industrial products brand, to revolutionize its RADIX Type II Safety Helmet. On display at NSC Orlando next week, the upgraded RADIX helmet will feature an embedded Twiceme near-field communications (NFC) chip under the shell to add a new level of safety and preparedness to everyday wear.

LIFT Safety has been innovating and redefining safety products for over 20 years. The RADIX launched in the fall of 2022 as the company’s first Type II safety helmet offering. The RADIX takes comfort to the next level with its four-point LUX Suspension system, which guarantees the helmet fits securely on the head. Additionally, a magnetic quick-lock and adjustable chinstrap make it ideal for working at height or on the ground, and its ventilated outer shell protects against job site impact hazards. Two years later, the company is innovating the interior with Twiceme technology.

Twiceme's Help the Helpers™ (HTH) technology, embedded in the shell of a helmet and accessible via smartphone, enhances workplace safety by providing essential information to first responders quickly and efficiently. In emergency scenarios, the response time can significantly impact survival rates. Twiceme technology enables workers and bystanders to swiftly alert authorities, accurately locate the injured, and provide crucial identification details that each wearer can upload via the Twiceme mobile application.

"The original RADIX helmet features cutting-edge design, but as part of our mission to continuously innovate, we saw room to add new technology to keep industrial workers on the front line as safe as possible,” said Rory Craig, senior industrial designer, LIFT Safety. “Twiceme’s safety technology will empower workers in emergency scenarios and also help them ingrain safety in their daily routines via self-guided daily equipment health checks."

Twiceme’s Equipment Health feature provides a quick and easy way for workers to self-inspect equipment regularly. It allows safety managers to continuously monitor the workforce for compromised safety equipment and expiration dates of old equipment by empowering employees to regularly self-inspect their personal protective equipment (PPE), per the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) recommendations on properly evaluating head protection.

"In pursuit of spreading Twiceme’s culture of safety, we are continuously looking for new PPE brands that share a similar sentiment,” said Christian Connolly, CEO of Twiceme. “The partnership with LIFT Safety was a natural fit given the company’s joint focus on design and innovation. By adding our state-of-the-art safety technology into LIFT’s RADIX helmets, we enable general contractors and other industrial segments like mining and oil and gas to take a digital approach to establishing safety in their daily operations."

The LIFT Safety RADIX helmet with embedded Twiceme technology will be available for purchase in Q1 of 2025.

Twiceme will exhibit the helmets at the NSC Safety Congress and Expo, held from September 16 to 18 in Orlando, Florida, in booth #750. For more details about the new helmets, visit www.liftsafety.com. To learn more about Twiceme, visit www.twiceme.com.
