Pickleball Protection
"I bought these glasses a number of years ago simply to check out wrap around bifocal lenses. Eventually, the bifocal lens became too weak for my changing vision as I got older. They sat in a box of old glasses until, in retirement, I started playing pickleball. I promptly saw the need for eye protection so I popped the lenses out and had prescription safety quality lenses put in. Yesterday, after 2 1/2 years of playing pickleball, it happened. . . . a hard driven ball went directly toward my eye. With no time to react, I saw it coming and heard it hit but only felt a little push on the bone under my eye. The glasses simply repelled that ball !! I didn't even get a bruise ! The glasses are no worse for the wear. . . and they saved my eye from what would have been significant harm !! I am so happy with your product !!!"
