U.S. HURRICANE RELIEF
The tale end of 2017 has brought unprecedented destruction across the United States due to Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. 2017 was the first year that that three major hurricanes (category 4+) made landfall on U.S. territory, not to mention doing so in the space of a few weeks. All Hands and Hearts – Smart Response responded each time, in our usual “all-in” fashion. We just completed a robust 11-week response in the Florida Keys, and are still knee deep in Texas and the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI.) Meanwhile, our Puerto Rico Hurricane Response program has opened to volunteers.
